Sorrry, it's been awhile

I was just noticing HOW LONG it's been since we've updated the blog. We have had ONE busy summer.....fun but busy. Just to catch everyone up on what we've been doing and then I will post some of the fun pictures.
  • We did attend Ted's cousin Tricia's wedding the last weekend in June...we had a great time and Noah loved running around with his older cousins. He did manage to fall into a pan of au jus that was hiding under a table. Leave it to the boys to make a mess. It was off to bed soon after
  • Starting in July, we went up to Minnesota to visit Uncle Slade and Aunt Christina for the 4th. Noah enjoyed the fireworks and found a friendly dog to play with while the fireworks display was in motion.
  • Ted and I went on a camping trip to Pom De Terre Lake for a weekend and experienced thunderstorms, strong winds and rain in our fairly new tent. It was an experience and a nice lake. We are hoping for a better turn-out for next year.(Noah did stay back home with Grandma Ubel and had a great time!!)
  • Noah and I headed back to Manhattan one weekend and visited the new splash park and playground at the City Park. He loves the water but seemed more fascinated with the orange construction fence and yellow bench. Go figure, I think I am finally have him figured out and then he changes everything up. Our good friend Theresa was there to enjoy the fun.
  • At the beginning of August we were in St Louis to help celebrate Grandpa Bokern or Great-Grandpa Bokern's 101st Birthday!! It was great to see family and eat birthday cake.
  • Just a few weeks ago, we were back in Manhattan again to celebrate the 50th Ubel Farm Reunion. We saw all the family from aunts and uncles to cousins and their children. Noah got to see the cows, play with the rocks and then try to eat them. Everyone had a great time and the weather was awesome. Afterwards, we went out for a few drinks with Cousin Michael, Jenny, Darren, Ted and myself. Cousin Aaron met up with us shortly after and was a good time for all.
  • Finally, we celebrated Aunt Jenny and Aunt Jessy's 29th Birthday!!! Good time as always and great pictures which I don't have any to share. The next day we went to the Missouri state Fair where Noah found the BEST GIFT EVER!!! It was a miniature American Flag......he was waving it around, almost jabbed out his eye and others who were holding him. He was a happy little man.
OK.....enough typing......now on to the pictures.....please enjoy and I hope not to go this long again!!
