Our Friends from Wichita came for a visit....

We had a wonderful weekend visiting with our friends from Wichita, Matt, Becca and their son Breven. They stuck it out even though it snowed about 3 inches on Saturday. It was great meeting Breven, and Noah had a blast having a friend to play with. They both had a great time climbing up the stairs and took a break to let the moms take a quick picture of them. Today, we headed down to the the Basketball Experience downtown to shoot some hoops. The boys were just a little to small but we took a few good pics to remember the day. The day ended nicely as we watched KU crush MU......what a great game!! Thanks again Becca, Matt and Breven for staying with us. We had a great time and hope you did too. We will head your way soon. BATH TIME!!!

Oh, how Noah loves to take his bathes. I do believe he would take one every day if Mom or Dad had the energy to give him one. These bath pictures show just how much hair he has grown. I still can't believe how much is on his head...I'm considering the 1st haircut a little sooner than his first birthday because he may be sporting a ponytail by then.

Noah's Baptism

This weekend was great in many ways. Ted and I were able to slip away for lunch on Valentine's Day while Noah played with Aunt Christina, Uncle Slade, Aunt Julie, Papa Ed and Nana Nina. It was wonderful to have a little down time from the "little busy body" and everyone else enjoyed wearing him out. Then Sunday was his big day. We all were up early on Sun. Feb 15th for Noah's baptism. The service went beautifully and Noah performed like a champ. He didn't cry or say a word until the pastor handed him back to Ted and he blew a raspberry which I think we were the only ones who saw or heard him. It was a long day but a lot of fun as the entire family(Grandpa Tom, Grandma Debbie, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Darren, Aunt Jessy, Papa Ed, Nana Nina, Aunt Christina, Uncle Slade, Aunt Julie and Great-Uncle Paul-our wonderful photograher and friends Clint and Kristin) got together to celebrate. We had brunch following the service and had some cake thanks to Nana Nina. Once we were home we took a few pics before we changed clothes. Noah, at this point, was very energetic and ready to play. I may post some pics later if I can get some from the rest of the family.

Crawling can mean TROUBLE...

Okay, it's now been a few weeks and Noah has gotten the swing of things with this crawling business. So much that he keeps finding himself drawn to things that he is not suppose to play with. I took a small video clip that shows his usual routine once he gets home from daycare. He plays with his activity stand from Aunt Jessy and then will crawl to the fireplace and pull open the vent where all the wires are at....which we have repeated over and over and over that it is a No-No. But of course he thrives off the word "NO" and just smiles at us as he goes back to fireplace over and over and over. He is keeping us busy but making us laugh alot. Enjoy the pics and I hope the video turns out!! Okay its sideways...SORRY!!

The video didn't come through....I am a first timer here so I am going to keep working on it until I can figure it out!

Noah is CRAWLING!!!

Well, we are not ready for this new milestone but it has been fun watching Noah. He had been crawling backwards and pulling up on objects for the last month and FINALLY figured out how to go foward. It has been so exciting to see him figure things out and now he is off like a rocket. Here are just of few pics...not the greatest shots but showing that he likes to keep things in motion.

Christmas Day!!!!!!!

Santa probably has lots of cute elves at his workshop but we thought he had an adorable helper right here in Kansas. Noah geared up for the big day and went to work. Even though the majority of the presents were for him, Noah helped everyone else by picking up the leftover wrappings and putting them in his mouth! Here are a few pics from Nana Nina, Papa Ed and Aunt Julie's house.
